Acton Academy of 30a offers rolling admission throughout the year.
For the school year starting August 2024 we are accepting applications from families with learners ages 4-15. Tuition is $12,555/year plus a one time $500 curriculum fee per school year. The fee covers the costs related to using Acton Academy’s curriculum.
Because Acton Academy is based on non traditional learning methods we require all interested families to go through a fun interview process so we can make sure we are both a great fit.
Email us if you have any questions at actonacademyof30a@gmail.com or start your enrollment application below.
Acton Academy is very different from traditional education and we want to make sure we are a good fit for the FAMILY. It is important that everyone in the family be aligned with the vision and independence that Acton Academy of 30a offers. At Acton Academy young people take ownership of their education and peer relationships. Acton students learn to think independently, take responsibility, and embrace challenges.
$12,555 per year.
We are currently enrolling learners ages 4-14 for the 2023/2024 school year. Learn more or email us at actonacademyof30a@gmail.com to discuss.
We believe that children learn best when working with those younger and older than themselves rather than split up into groups based solely on age. The “Spark Studio” generally serves learners around ages 4-6. When they are ready they move up to the Elementary Studio as an “Eagles” (generally ages 7-11).
From there learners transition to Middle School (generally ages 12-15) where they continue to learn leadership and self-direction at a deeper level through internships, Socratic discussions and increasingly independent, in-depth quests. The “Launch Pad” (generally 15-18 years old) is the final chapter at Acton Academy of 30a and will be offered in the future but we are not currently enrolling this age group.
We respect and incorporate Maria Montessori’s philosophy, but we are not a Montessori school. In addition to Montessori methods, we use the latest interactive technologies, hands on projects and the Socratic Method for discussions.
